“You’re the one that I want!” Rosie O’Donnell, Rizzo in the Broadway adaptation of “Grease,” has reportedly said about the Palm Beach estate of Olivia Newton-John, who played Sandy in the original 1978 film.
O’Donnell has contracted to buy the Jupiter Inlet Colony home for $5.6 million, half a million below the Australian singer’s asking price, according to Gossip Extra.
It’s an all-cash deal, according to Gossip Extra, who reported that the actress and talk show host is flush with greenbacks after selling a 12-bedroom mansion on Star Island in Miami Beach for $12.6 million in June.
O’Donnell and her wife, Michelle Rounds, were reportedly shopping for a place for Rounds’ mother when they were taken to see the 7,429-square-foot Palm Beach manse at 104 Lighthouse Drive, the web site said.
“They just fell in love with the place,” Gossip Extra quoted an unnamed source as saying. [Gossip Extra] — Emily Schmall
