Blue tinted glass fins will greet visitors to the Design District when construction of Sou Fujimoto’s building is completed in early 2014.
The Japanese architect unveiled his designs, inspired by “Miami’s tempestuous rain squalls,” along with other projects for Craig Robins’ sprawling luxe retail experience, in which LVMH has a minority stake.
“Fujimoto’s building will contribute well to the unity of design, fashion, art and architecture,” Robins, founder of Dacra, said in a release. — Emily Schmall
