Boca Raton-based biotech firm Biotest Pharmaceuticals has a signed a lease for the full 19,000-square-foot space at a one-story Royal Palm Beach office building, according to a spokesperson for NAI/Merin Hunter Codman, which represented the landlord in the deal.

The company will move into 100 Business Parkway, next door to the Regal Cinemas, in two phases — taking the place of Zoo Health Club and Capitol Lighting. First, it will occupy 12,000 square feet this month and begin a build-out to accommodate its technology needs. The rest of the space will be occupied next month, a spokesperson said.

West Palm Beach-based commercial real estate firm NAI/Merin Hunter Codman brokers Bruce Corn and Barbara Le Brun negotiated the lease on behalf of Royal Palm Capital Realty. The owner bought the property in 2003. Los Angeles-based DLZ represented Biotest Pharmaceuticals in the deal.

Biotech is currently headquartered at 5800 Park of Commerce Boulevard Northwest. — Mark Maurer
