Miami-based Newgard Development Group, which is behind the 374-unit BrickellHouse condominium project in Brickell, won the Latin Builders Association’s Developer of the Year award last month, according to a spokesperson.
The annual ceremony at the Hilton in Downtown Miami honors companies and leaders that have had a major impact on business growth in South Florida. Last year, Atlantic | Pacific Development won the award. Newgard recently launched the 352-unit Centro condominium at 151 Southeast 1st Street.
“This award serves as a reflection of our firm’s dedication and commitment to developing forward-thinking, innovative, top-quality projects in South Florida that offer the best in location, amenities, and design,” said Marc S. Coleman, senior vice president of construction for Newgard Development Group, in a statement. — Mark Maurer
