New York billionaire investor Wilbur Ross added to his Palm Beach holdings, buying a 3,320-square-foot home there for $2.2 million.
The seller had paid $1.95 million for the house at 210 Onondaga Avenue, which will likely serve as Ross’ pied-à-terre. Ross already owns a 16,247-square-foot mansion on one acre along the Intracoastal Waterway that he purchased in 2008 for $13.3 million.
Ross, who is worth $2.6 billion, announced in July he would raise $75 million in co-investment capital as part of Invesco Advisers’ $240 million stake in the purchase of the Brooklyn headquarters of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, at 25 Columbia Heights, in a deal for the portfolio of six buildings, as previously reported.
