Miami-based brokerage Worldwide Properties owner Eddy Martinez went west to nab the listing for a $19.5 million trophy property in Las Vegas formerly rented by the late pop icon Michael Jackson.

Jackson rented the 2.1-acre estate, known as Hacienda Palomino, from 2007 until his death in 2009, when it hit the market for $12.8 million. The 8,500-square-foot, three-story house had three bedrooms, seven bathrooms and an elevator, the Wall Street Journal reported.

“Many Chinese are Michael Jackson fanatics,” Martinez told the Wall Street Journal. “For a really wealthy fan of Michael Jackson, it would be a dream come true to own the home where Michael lived and recorded and created his music.”

Aner Iglesias, a real estate investor and international trade diplomat, currently owns the property.

Martinez has handled sales of units at the Icon South Beach tower and the Apogee condomium, both in Miami Beach. [WSJ]Mark Maurer
