Law firm Greenspoon Marder grabbed nearly 65,000 square feet at one of the tallest office towers in Fort Lauderdale.
The lease covers four floors of the 21-story Class A structure at 200 East Broward Boulevard and Northeast Third Avenue, replacing bankrupt law firm Ruden McClosky. Studley’s Thomas Capocefalo and Gregory Katz represented the tenant, while Jones Lang LaSalle’s Sandra Andersen represented the owner, VV USA City, an affiliate of Invesco Real Estate.
Other tenants include PNC Bank and several law firms such as Weiss Serota Helfman Pastoriza Cole & Boniske and Shutts & Bowen. Occupancy has now reached 87 percent, according to the South Florida Business Journal, citing Jones Lang LaSalle data. [South Florida Business Journal] — Mark Maurer
