Financial services firm Hencorp Beckstone has signed a 20,000-square-foot office lease renewal at 777 Brickell Avenue, The Real Deal has learned. The 10-year lease is valued at $7.5 million.
Hencorp scoured the Brickell office market, evaluating some of the newer buildings in Miami’s financial district, before deciding to stay put. The transaction was announced Monday in a written statement from brokerage Taylor & Mathis, which helped arrange the deal.
Taylor & Mathis broker Andrew Trench and William Holly of Pointe Group Advisors brokered the transaction.
Hencorp’s decision shows “newer isn’t always better,” Trench said. The 777 Brickell building is “impeccably maintained with Class A finishes.” — Eric Kalis
