Coral Gables’ Allen Morris expands with residential arm
Coral Gables-based commercial developer Allen Morris Company has announced a foray into the residential realm. Allen Morris Residential, a branch of W. Allen Morris’ main firm, will focus on condominiums and single-family homes.
Morris recruited Dennis Suarez, former vice president at multifamily developer Archstone; Gordon Crozier, director of investments; and Kevin Blakey, director of construction. Blakey managed construction at the 56-story 50 Biscayne in Downtown Miami; the 47-story Portofino Tower in South Beach; and the 28-story Turnberry on the Green in Aventura.
