Palm Beach County house prices continue to be in a league ahead of last year’s numbers. The median prices climbed $253,000 in October, up 14 percent year-over-year, the Sun-Sentinel reported, citing data from the Realtors Association of the Palm Beaches.
The county saw 1,364 sales, a 19 percent rise from October last year. October had 2,349 new listings, which is a five-year high, the report said.
On a month-over-month basis, median prices haven’t changed much. Sellers have wielded less control, as indicated by data over the last four months.
“There’s a little more give and take,” agent Cathy Prenner told the Sun-Sentinel. [Sun-Sentinel] — Mark Maurer
