Miami Beach and Palm Beach have solidified their positions among the nation’s priciest housing markets.
Both made CNN Money’s latest list of the 10 most expensive residential ZIP codes thanks to their high-end sales velocity. Miami Beach (33139) checked in at fourth, behind Beverly Hills, New York City and Aspen. It had 42 home sales of $5 million or more, and 11 sales of $10 million or more, from June 2012 to June 2013.
Palm Beach (33480) was ninth on the list, with 28 sales at $5 million or more. The ZIP code covers the entire 16-acre barrier island that comprises the town. [CNN Money] — Eric Kalis
