West Kendall office plaza hit with foreclosure suit

Alabama-based Regions Bank filed a foreclosure lawsuit last month against Lucky Start Executive Plaza in an effort to seize a 69,189-square-foot office plaza in the Miami-Dade suburb of West Kendall.

The landlord built the plaza at 8785 Southwest 165th Avenue, near North Kendall Drive, in 2008. The mortgage was modified a year later, at $16.45 million and a maturity date of February last year.

Regions Bank has also filed two suits against Lucky Start, both of which resulted in the seizure of properties, the South Florida Business Journal reported. [South Florida Business Journal] — Mark Maurer
