Celebrity Miami restaurateur Myles Chefetz has picked up a 3,463-square-foot Miami Beach space that formerly housed restaurants Philippe and Taverna Opa.
Taverna Opa Holdings sold the site at 36 Ocean Drive for $4.95 million. Philippe, owned by Philippe Chow, shut down earlier this year.
Surrounding the building will be the Related Group’s upcoming Enrique Norten-designed condo tower One Ocean.
Chefetz owns Prime One Twelve at 112 Ocean Drive. In May, he sold his penthouse at Ocean House, a 28-unit condominium tower at 121 Ocean Drive for $15 million. [exMiami] — Mark Maurer
