The Van Dyke Cafe on Lincoln Road in Miami Beach is closing after nearly two decades in business.

Known for its live jazz music and prominent location in the city’s busiest retail corridor, Van Dyke Cafe is set to stop operating in early 2014, the Miami Herald reported. The historic Van Dyke building at 846 Lincoln Road was sold to a Crown Acquisitions subsidiary for $16 million in August 2012. That transaction started rumors about the restaurant’s potential closing.
