A company with ties to Tenet Healthcare spent $48 million on a medical office building in Hialeah.
Tenet-managed Lifemark Hospitals acquired the building next to Palmetto General Hospital last month, South Florida Business Journal reported. The seller of the 7160 West 20th Avenue building was North Miami Beach-based Pal-Med Holdings. Pal-Med is managed by Marc Osheroff and Alan Gross.
The nearly 450,000-square-foot building is primarily occupied by outpatient facilities and medical office tenants. Tenet had a ground lease on the property before acquiring the building, which last traded for $37 million in 2008. [South Florida Business Journal] — Eric Kalis
