SoFla home prices climb more than 14% year-over-year

Across the board, South Florida home prices underwent a year-over-year surge in November, according to CoreLogic data.

Home prices increased 15.5 percent in Miami-Dade County, 15.2 percent in Broward County and 14.3 percent in Palm Beach County year-over-year. However, growth was far more slight compared to October – 1.1 percent, 0.5 percent and 1 percent for the respective counties.

Values accelerated at a faster pace in South Florida than in New York City, Dallas, Houston and Washington, D.C. U.S. home prices were up 11.8 percent year-over-year and 0.1 percent month-over-month, the South Florida Business Journal reported. [South Florida Business Journal]Mark Maurer
