Basketball icon Michael Jordan filed a permit request with Palm Beach County to connect his 37,000-square-foot house to his 3,000-square-foot cottage in his backyard.
The home in the golfer Jack Nicklaus’ Bear’s Club community in Jupiter sits on a three-acre double lot. It features 11 bedrooms, a basketball court and a gym.
Jordan paid $4.8 million for a pair of tracts in 2008, and subsequently had a house built there, as previously reported. The property is now valued at $25 million. [GossipExtra] — Mark Maurer
