Former New York Giants quarterback Danny Kanell has sold his Fort Lauderdale residence for $1.2 million, The Real Deal has learned.
Kanell, a Fort Lauderdale native, and wife Courtenay sold the 4631 Northeast 25th Avenue home on Jan. 10, according to Broward County records. The county recorded the transaction Thursday. The couple paid $833,000 for the property in February 2012.
A Fort Lauderdale company called Nostress is the buyer of the 3,800-square-foot residence. State corporate records show the company is managed by Martin Prokop and Petra Muller. It did not obtain financing for the purchase.
Built in 1966, the home has five bedrooms and four bathrooms.
Kanell played at Florida State University before an eight-year National Football League career with the Giants, Atlanta Falcons and Denver Broncos. He currently works as a college football analyst for ESPN. — Eric Kalis
