NHL commissioner sells condo for $1.6M

National Hockey League commissioner Gary Bettman found time to unload one of his two Highland Beach condos just before the league returned from its Olympic break, The Real Deal has learned.

Bettman and his wife Michelle sold unit 1610 at Toscana South for $1.6 million on Monday, according to Palm Beach County records. The couple paid $1.5 million for the 2,900-square-foot condo in November 2006. Gerald and Edwina Musano are the buyers.

Last month, the Bettman’s acquired unit 1703, Toscana’s penthouse, at the 3740 South Ocean Boulevard community for $3.1 million. That was one of only three transactions of at least $3 million at Toscana.

A Queens, N.Y. native, Bettman has served as NHL commissioner for more than 20 years.
