A professional soccer player from Israel has picked up a waterfront North Miami Beach residence for nearly $2 million, The Real Deal has learned.
Tal Ben Haim, a defender for the Israeli national team and the Standard Liege club squad, bought the 16461 Northeast 34th Avenue home last Friday, according to Miami-Dade County records. The county recorded the transaction on Wednesday.
Neil and Lisa Lader sold the four-bedroom home to Ben Haim. They paid $385,000 for the property in 1996.
The two-story, 4,048-square-foot house was built in 1982 in the gated Eastern Shores community. It is located just west of the Intracoastal Mall, which was recently acquired by Gil Dezer’s development firm.
Ben Haim spent nearly a decade playing in the English Premier League and has been a member of the Israeli national team since 2002.
