The owner of the future Conrad Fort Lauderdale Resort & Residences has launched unit sales for the luxury condo-hotel.
CFLB Partnerships expects to close on the first round of unit sales within the next few months, the Sun-Sentinel reported. Prices for the 290-unit project range from $450,000 to $1.8 million, with three penthouses that could sell for substantially more. CFLB has workers reconstructing the lobby and preparing for the addition of a lounge and gourmet market at the 551 North Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard.
The vacant hotel was going to be called the Trump International Hotel and Tower before Donald Trump pulled out of the project following a series of lawsuits and a bankruptcy filing. CFLB paid $115 million for the property in December.
The Conrad is slated to open early next year. [Sun-Sentinel] — Eric Kalis
