The luxury townhouses would be built at the site of the old Plaza Inn hotel at 215 Brazilian Avenue, Palm Beach Daily News reported. Architect Harold Smith designed the four French Chateau-style townhouses. The project includes an eight-space underground parking garage.

Town Council members had a chance to approve the proposed development this week but declined to vote, instead asking Capital Construction & Development to modify the drainage system and either alter or get rid of chimneys that could obstruct neighbors’ views. Capital is on the verge of buying the site from New York investor Aby Rosen. [Palm Beach Daily News]Eric Kalis
