The Palm Beach Town Council is seeking National Register of Historic Places status for Royal Poinciana Way.
The council authorized up to $15,000 for research, preparation and submission of the application, according to the Palm Beach Post. That will also include polling to learn if the legally required threshold of at least 50 percent of property owners support the designation.
The council will seek historic status for the entire five-acre block bordered by Royal Poinciana Way, Bradley Place, Sunset Avenue and North County Road. [PBP] – Christopher Cameron
