Scottie Pippen’s Ft. Lauderdale manse gets interest

Basketball Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen has been trying to sell his Fort Lauderdale manse for nearly seven years.

Pippen’s latest listing agent says the saga could finally reach its conclusion in the coming months. Broker Gilles Rais, who is marketing the 2571 Del Lago Drive mansion, told the Sun-Sentinel the home is getting substantial interest from potential buyers. Rais expects to start collecting offers in the near future.

The asking price for the six-bedroom home is currently $11.8 million. Pippen first listed it for $15 million in September 2007. The asking price has fluctuated in the years since, but the former Chicago Bull has been unable to complete a sale. [Sun-Sentinel] — Eric Kalis
