Zillow ranks top Palm Beach County buyers markets

Homebuyers seeking the best bargains in Palm Beach County should focus on a small town immediately south of ritzy Palm Beach, according to the latest report from Zillow.com.

Lantana, a working-class town with about 10,000 residents, currently ranks as the county’s top residential market for buyers. Homes in Lantana linger on the market for an average of 170 days, which is easily the longest span in the county. About 36 percent of listed homes have had an asking price reduction, according to the Sun-Sentinel.

Lake Worth and Palm Beach Gardens took the second and third spots on Zillow’s list. Homes in both cities stay on the market for more than 100 days.
