A Manalapan mansion traded for $12.5 million, The Real Deal has learned.
The sale of the waterfront 1920 South Ocean Boulevard estate closed Friday, according to broker Linda A. Gary of Linda A. Gary Real Estate, which listed the nearly two-acre property. Palm Beach County has not recorded the transaction. Gary declined to disclose the buyer of the seven-bedroom, 9,800-square-foot manse.
Sellers Dennis and Sheila Hammond paid $10 million for the home in July 2011, according to Palm Beach County records. Built in 2004, the mansion has eight-and-a-half-bathrooms, a four-car garage, a swimming pool and deep water dockage. The property includes a two-bedroom guest house.
The mansion was originally listed with a $13.5 million asking price.
