A company with ties to hotel developer the Murray Group acquired a Bay Harbor Islands property for $12 million, The Real Deal has learned.
Bay Harbor Hotel, which is managed by Murray Group head Jacques G. Murray, purchased the 9601 East Bay Harbor Drive parcel from nonprofit the Church by the Sea on April 1, according to Miami-Dade County records. The county recorded the transaction Tuesday.
The nearly 34,000-square-foot property is currently zoned for small multifamily development. It was previously the home of the Bay Harbor Inn.
