Football star Elvis Dumervil unloaded his Parkland residence at a loss only nine months after buying the home, The Real Deal has learned.
The Baltimore Ravens linebacker sold the nearly 9,000-square-foot house at 6625 Northwest 122nd Avenue for about $2.2 million on April 17, according to Broward County records. The county recorded the transaction on Thursday. Dumervil paid $2.3 million for the seven-bedroom, seven-bathroom residence in July 2013.
Wayne and Melissa Kreisberg are the buyers of the home, which was constructed in 2007. They did not obtain financing.
The house is located within Parkland’s exclusive Heron Bay East community.
An eight-year National Football League veteran, Dumervil grew up in Miami’s Liberty City neighborhood. After attending the University of Louisville, the linebacker spent seven seasons with the Denver Broncos before joining the Ravens for the 2013 season.
