Professional hockey player Petr Nedved sold an Icon South Beach condo for nearly $1.9 million three months after buying a 39th-floor unit at the same tower, The Real Deal has learned.
Nedved paid about $1.2 million for Icon’s Unit 1507 in February 2010, according to Miami-Dade County records. The new owner of the two-bedroom, 1,815-square-foot condo is Blackray Icon. State corporate records identify Jean-Jacques Quintal is the managing member of Blackray Icon.
The transaction closed on April 30. No financing was recorded.
Nedved acquired Icon’s 1,933-square-foot Unit 3902 for $3.1 million in January. He played for seven teams during a 15-year National Hockey League career. During February’s Winter Olympics, Nedved was part of the Czech Republic national team.
Located at 450 Alton Road, Icon South Beach was constructed in 2005.
