The third phase of Flagler Station construction is underway.
Flagler Global Logistics started working on the latest component of the Medley business park last week, according to the company’s written announcement. The third phase is expected to bring another 1.7 million square feet of new industrial space to 98 acres at the park. Once completed, the Class A warehouse and distribution space will be available for sale or lease.
“The port expansions and restoration of the PortMiami rail line mean a higher volume of goods will move through South Florida and more facilities are needed to accommodate them,” Flagler Global president and CEO Chris Scott said. “With Phase II almost at capacity and demand for industrial space reaching its highest level in years, the timing was right to bring Phase III to fruition.”
