John F. Kennedy’s “Winter White House,” the longtime Palm Beach home of the Kennedy family from 1933 to 1995, hit the market for $38.5 million.
The 15,000-square-foot, eleven-bedroom mansion, which was nearly torn down, was designed by famed Palm Beach architects Addison Mizner and Maurice Fatio.
The home, which is located at 1095 North Ocean Boulevard, includes a pool, tennis court, and lots of ocean frontage, according to Curbed.
Locals say the Kennedy family would visit for “Easter, Christmas and Spring Break,” when they would “play tennis and spend time on the beach.” Local broker Linda Olsson has the listing. [Curbed] – Christopher Cameron
