After more than a decade, Marcus & Millichap’s Greg Matus is defecting to Franklin Street, another commercial real estate firm. Matus will join Franklin Street a regional managing partner. Matus specializes in retail investment sales, and at Franklin he will focus on Broward and Palm Beach counties, according to the company’s written announcement released on Wednesday. At Marcus & Millichap’s Fort Lauderdale office, Matus acted as the vice president and regional manager of the company’s Real Estate Investment Services division. “Joining Franklin Street is an opportunity I could not pass up,” Matus said. “They are making a lot of things happen in the local market now and have ambitious plans to grow throughout the Southeast U.S. and beyond. I am excited to be playing a role in that process and joining a talented team of professionals with a clear vision of how to succeed.” – Christopher Cameron
