A vacant site in Abacoa’s Town Center is slated to become an entertainment complex, featuring bowling, billiards, bars, a dozen movie theaters and live music.
“This will be the anchor that has been missing to bring people back to Town Center,” said Scott Hedge, the project manager.
The Jupiter-based Frank Group will submit formal plans to the city of Jupiter next month to build the 75,000-square-foot complex, dubbed CineBowl & Grille, within walking distance from Roger Dean Stadium, on the former site of the Crown Theatre, according to the Palm Beach Post.
The building is planned for late 2015, according to a Frank Group release.
“CineBowl & Grille will not only provide a place for the community to gather in a family friendly social environment, but will stimulate the renewal of the Town Center and local job market,” said Jupiter Councilwoman Wendy Harrison. [PBP] – Christopher Cameron
