Jeep parts and accessories distributor Morris 4X4 Center signed a lease to occupy 60,000 square feet at the Atlantic Business Center in Pompano Beach.
Morris agreed to open the new facility inside Building 5A at the 2031 Southwest Second Street industrial park, according to Wednesday’s written announcement from CBRE, which represented the company. Duke Realty owns the center.
One of the largest Jeep parts distributors in the nation, Morris plans to hire 15 new employees to work at the Atlantic Business Center facility.
CBRE brokers Larry Genet, Harry Tangalakis and Tom O’Loughlin represented Morris. The firm’s Jeff Kelly and Duke Realty’s Ed Mitchell represented the landlord.
“The Pompano Beach submarket in Broward County has been one of the slowest submarkets to recover from the recession, but with Morris 4X4 taking down 60,000 square feet, we are beginning to see stabilization in the market,” Genet said. — Eric Kalis
