Two longtime South Florida real estate firms formed a new company focusing on multifamily and commercial property management.

Rivergate Companies is combining subsidiary Rivergate Management with the non-condo portfolio of KW Property Management & Consulting, according to a written statement released on Monday. The new entity, Rivergate | KW Management, has 80 employees and manages property throughout the region.

Jay Massirman is the president of Miami-based Rivergate. Paul Kaplan and Robert White are the founders and co-managing directors of KW Property Management. All three are serving as managing directors of the new company.

“Joining forces and combining our resources and extensive knowledge of the real estate industry gives us the unique opportunity to create new synergies, grow and enhance our client services, create an immediate statewide footprint, hire the best talent and aggressively expand the management platform,” Massirman said. — Eric Kalis
