The Community Redevelopment Agency’s plans to develop Ocean Breeze East in Boynton Beach may have just fallen through.

Recently, it was revealed that at least one of the agency’s board members has been speaking with other companies interested in developing the site.

The CRA was set to select a developer in August but now the entire process will start over after the legitimacy of the request for proposal has been called into question, according to the Palm Beach Post.

“The CRA prohibits communication to or with any department, bureau or employee during the submission process,” according to the “cone of silence” measure the CRA board began enforcing in April 2011. [Palm Beach Post] – Christopher Cameron
