Palm Beach residential power broker Lawrence Moens got more than $20 million for his landmarked home on South Ocean Boulevard.
Moens, who had owned the 86-year-old house since 1991, sold the 850 South Ocean Boulevard property in a transaction recorded on Tuesday, according to Palm Beach County records. The longtime broker paid about $2.2 million for the four-bedroom home. He later added a two-bedroom guesthouse and three-car garage to the 1.1-acre property.
The Toronto-based 850 Family Trust is the buyer. One of the trustees is Maxine Granovsky-Gluskin, the wife of Toronto wealth management guru Ira Gluskin. The Gluskin Sheff + Associates co-founder is not listed as a trustee.
Christian Angle of Christian Angle Real Estate represented the buyers, according to the Palm Beach Daily News.
In addition to his own home sale, Moens has been busy this summer brokering expensive deals for his Palm Beach clients. He was the listing agent for Ivana Trump’s $16.6 million sale of a 102 Jungle Road mansion earlier this month. — Eric Kalis
