Trader Joe’s opens Delray Beach location

A new Trader Joe’s grocery store opened this morning in Delray Beach.

The store is located at 1851 South Federal Highway at the corner of Linton Boulevard and Federal Highway in the area’s newest shopping plaza, Delray Place.

The Delray Beach store touts a “Trader Joe’s around-town theme,” Jeff Schall, the store’s manager told the Sun-Sentinel. “Inside this new Trader Joe’s, you will know you are in Delray Beach.”

The store features colorful murals painted high on the walls, illustrating city landmarks such as the Pineapple Grove Arts District, the Delray Beach Tennis Center and the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens. [Sun-Sentinel] – Christopher Cameron
