Miami Heat president Pat Riley headlines Sotheby’s International Realty’s annual Global Networking Event in Miami this week.
Riley is the keynote speaker for the event, which began on Monday and ends on Thursday. More than 1,400 of Sotheby’s agents and management from the U.S. and more than 27 countries are coming to the Fontainebleau Miami Beach for the conference, according to a written statement released by a firm spokesperson. Miami was chosen as the host city because of its heightened global prominence and proximity to Latin America.
Sotheby’s also hosted a smaller event at Brickell City Centre on Sunday. One Sotheby’s International Realty and Fortune International Realty are handling the project’s condo sales on behalf of developer Swire Properties. A luncheon was held at the Ritz-Carlton Residences, Miami Beach on Monday.
The event “speaks to the power of the brand and the strength of our relationships worldwide, which are invaluable to our clients,” One Sotheby’s president Daniel de la Vega said. — Eric Kalis
