The Palm Beach Town Council and the new operator of the Palm House are still trying to resolve their differences regarding design changes for the long-delayed hotel.

Council members are concerned with a perceived parking shortage and design alterations, according to the Palm Beach Daily News. However, the council is receptive to the new operator Gordon Campbell Gray, an international hotelier who joined the project early this year.

Gray told the council that he wants to correct serious flaws in the previous design and open the Palm House in March as a first-class destination.

The hotel, located at 160 Royal Palm Way, has been in the renovation process since 2007, under the supervision of several different owners. In September 2013, it sold once again to a group of anonymous investors. [Palm Beach Daily News]Christopher Cameron
