Aloft South Beach, a 235-room hotel in Miami Beach, has topped off, JMH Development announced.
The project is a joint venture between JMH Development and Madden Real Estate Ventures and is scheduled to open in early 2015.
Aloft South Beach is a redevelopment of the historic Motel Ankara and will also include a new eight-story tower.
“We’re excited about the topping off of the Aloft South Beach,” Jason Halpern, principal of JMH Development, said in a press release. “Topping off the building marks a major milestone in the construction process and signals the beginning of the next phase as we progress toward the completion and opening of the Aloft South Beach.”
Amenities at the building will include an outdoor pool, roof deck lounge, a 24-hour fitness center and 2,349 square feet of flexible meeting space. – Christopher Cameron
