Konover South has purchased the Yamato Crossing retail center in Boca Raton for $13 million.
Fifth Third Bank seized the 28,000-square-foot property, located at 202 West Yamato Road, in 2010 after foreclosing on a $9.4 million mortgage, according to the South Florida Business Journal.
“Konover South has the capital and capacity to perform strategic acquisitions, and with rental rates and leasing activity on the rise, we are aggressively pursuing other deals,” CEO David Coppa said.
