Miami Dolphins offensive tackle Branden Albert purchased a six-bedroom house not too far from the team’s Davie practice facility for nearly $1.2 million, The Real Deal has learned.

Albert, who signed a five-year contract with the Dolphins in March, bought the 5,200-square-foot home in Davie’s Long Lake Ranches West community in a transaction recorded on Tuesday, according to Broward County records. Hayden and Kelly Reed sold the 11382 Redberry Drive property to Albert. They paid $950,000 for the house in September 2010.
