Shortly after the departure of firm president William Holly, Pointe Group Advisors took a step toward replacing the real estate veteran by hiring a new senior vice president of leasing.

Longtime broker Adriana Rosillo joined the firm and will be responsible for pursuing office leasing and sales business throughout South Florida. Rosillo was previously leasing director of Flagler Real Estate Services. Before that, she served as a sales associate for WestVest Associates.

Shahram M. Siddiqui is now a partner based in the Miami office of law firm Berger Singerman. The new member of the firm’s Business, Finance & Tax team has more than 15 years of experience in real estate financing, syndicated loan transactions and commercial mortgage loan origination and securitization. Siddiqui was previously executive vice president and corporate counsel at LNR Property LLC.

Marcus & Millichap promoted Fort Lauderdale-based Benjamin Silver to associate vice president of investments. Silver started his stint at the firm in October 2007 as a Miami-based associate. In March 2012, he was promoted to senior associate and moved to the Fort Lauderdale office a year later. — Eric Kalis
