Winn-Dixie to shut down seven South Florida locations

The chain will shutter three stores and four pharmacies by next month

Winn-Dixie is closing at least three stores and four pharmacies in South Florida due to underperformance.

The stores are closing by Nov. 19, but specific closing dates were not disclosed . Some could close sooner, according to the Sun-Sentinel.

The local stores are in Mangonia Park at 1225 West 45 Street, Riviera Beach at 3700 Broadway and West Palm Beach at 3131 Forest Hill Boulevard.

And the pharmacies are in Lantana at 1491 South Dixie Highway, Tamarac at 3116 West Commercial Boulevard, Miami at 14900 Northwest Seventh Avenue and Doral at 10505 Northwest 41 Street. [Sun-Sentinel]Christopher Cameron

It’s way overpriced compared to walmart and somewhat similar to Publix but Publix has a lot better quality of selection and 1,000 percent better customer service. If you try to be in between walmart or publix you’ll go out of business.

I hope this doesn’t affect any senior citizens.
