Nonprofit gets $19.2M for Edgewater property

Nonprofit Legal Services of Greater Miami sold its Edgewater office building to a Miami company that shares a mailing address with developer Crescent Heights, which owns the property next door, The Real Deal has learned.

Legal Services received $19.2 million for the 1.5-acre property at 3000 Biscayne Boulevard in a transaction recorded on Friday, according to Miami-Dade County records. The property last sold for $1.5 million in 1997. The 59,000-square-foot building was originally constructed in 1965.

The buyer is 3000 Property LLC, which lists 2200 Biscayne Boulevard as its address. Crescent’s headquarters is located there. No financing was recorded.

Another company with Crescent’s address owns the office building next door at 3050 Biscayne Boulevard.
