Berkley Insurance Company inked a 21,363-square-foot deal at 600 Brickell at Brickell World Plaza. The building will serve as the firm’s regional headquarters for its Latin American business division and provide additional space for the group’s corporate operations.
Noël Steinfeld, senior vice president at JLL, represented the tower’s developer. And Jack Lowell, executive vice president at PointeGroup Advisors, represented Berkley. The value of the lease was not disclosed.
Other tenants at 600 Brickell include Northern Trust, law firm Hogan Lovells and Crédit Agricole Private Banking Miami.
“W. R. Berkley Corporation’s decision to open its regional headquarters for Latin America at 600 Brickell not only cements the property’s position as an address of choice for national and international tenants, but also represents a win for Miami’s business community,” Steinfeld said in a press release. – Christopher Cameron
