HBO Latin America to start Sunrise expansion project

HBO Latin America is set to begin construction of an expanded technical production facility in Sunrise.

The company received a $25 million construction loan for the 48,000-square-foot facility adjacent to 13801 Northwest 14th Street. Northern Trust provided the financing. DPR Construction will be the general contractor for the facility, which will eventually connect to its existing 72,000-square-foot building.

HBO Latin America senior vice president of technology and operations Emilio Otermin said the facility should be completed during the first quarter of 2016, according to the South Florida Business Journal.
