The Costa Hollywood project on Hollywood Beach is getting a new partner and a new name when it opens in 2015.
International hotel operator Meliá Hotels will manage the newly renamed Meliá Costa Hollywood Beach Resort. Developed by Moses Bensusan’s Liberty Grande LLC, the condo-hotel will feature 304 hotel and residential units. Units will offer a variety of configurations, including studios and one, two and three bedrooms. The units will come equipped with full kitchens and energy efficient appliances, plus flat screen TVs and an automated valet parking system. Amenities include a spa/fitness facility, five restaurants, a business center, a gourmet coffee shop and a rooftop infinity pool (with a bar and grill).
“We believe Meliá Hotels & Resorts is the ideal partner for the new Costa Hollywood Beach Resort,” Bensusan said in a press release. Costa Hollywood broke ground in summer 2013. The condo-hotel’s location places it just five minutes from Gulfstream Park and 10 minutes from the Aventura Mall.
Meliá Hotels operates 365 hotels in 40 countries, and Costa Hollywood is part of its U.S. expansion plans. The company will open the ME Miami in 2015 and the Innside Manhattan in 2016. – Chris Guanche
