Downtown Miami is joining Brooklyn, San Francisco, Paris and Singapore as sites for new hotels in the Yotel chain.
The Miami hotel is set to open in 2017.
The hotel will have 250 Yotel “cabins,” small rooms that are stocked with the essentials, offering “affordable luxury without the clutter,” according to a press release. The hotel will also include a restaurant, bar, pool deck, gym and apartments.
Aria Development Group announced plans for the hotel, to be located at 227 NE Second Street, on Tuesday, according to the Miami Herald. Yotel has locations in New York, London and Amsterdam, some of which are airport hotels located inside of terminals. [Miami Herald] — Katherine Kallergis
